Simply IC is a results-driven marketing agency built on one simple principle: put the audience first. We blend creative storytelling with strategic, data-led marketing to help organisations connect with their audiences in meaningful and measurable ways.
Founded by Isla Cameron, Simply IC brings over a decade of experience across both B2B and B2C marketing, working with clients ranging from barcode and technology companies to faith-based organisations, charities, and arts institutions. This broad industry experience allows us to adapt quickly, think creatively, and communicate with clarity across very different audiences.
While Simply IC is led day-to-day by Isla, the business operates as a flexible agency model, drawing on a trusted network of specialist freelancers and creative partners as projects require. This means clients benefit from both personal, hands-on expertise and the depth of a wider professional team.
Isla’s Story
Isla grew up in Perth, Scotland, and was associated with many music organisations, churches, cathedrals and community groups. From a young age, she worked closely with ensembles and faith-based organisations, gaining first-hand insight into how powerful communication and community engagement can be. She achieved her Grade 8 ABRSM in recorder, piano and voice, before going on to study Music at the University of York.
From there Isla moved to London in 2017 and spent seven years at Wigmore Hall, one of the world’s leading classical music venues. In her first year she completed her qualification from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, graduating with distinction in 2019, and went on to develop a deep understanding of arts marketing, audience development and brand storytelling. For the final three years she served as Marketing Manager. She is now the Marketing Manager at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, continuing to work at the intersection of heritage, public engagement and communications.
Alongside her professional career, Isla has spent her life in churches, choirs and wider community spaces, giving her a rare, lived understanding of the challenges many organisations face when it comes to visibility, engagement and growth. She has served as a dedicated PCC member and Deanery Synod representative in the Diocese of London, contributing to the strategic and practical leadership of local churches, while also remaining deeply involved in community-led projects and initiatives. It was through seeing these challenges and opportunities up close, across both faith and community settings, that Simply IC was born.
